IF THERE’S A COMMON THREAD
If There’s a Common Thread is an ongoing series of exhibitions and artistic experiments that places exploration and at the forefront of the creative act. By bringing together international artists, the project seeks to uncover the connections—both visible and invisible—that bind us across cultures, disciplines, and creative endeavors. Each iteration unfolds in a unique location, where artists and the public are invited to engage deeply with one another, embracing the honesty, tension, and beauty that arise from human experiences.
"Maybe real metamorphosis is about finally accepting that some things are impossible. But that doesn't mean we stop trying. It’s like... you know you’ll never reach the horizon, but you still walk toward it. Maybe that’s the point—embracing the impossibility and still going forward, even if just to see how far you get."

Our latest Project:
If There’s a Common Thread - Vol. 4
BUNKER
AT THE PHOTOGETHER GALLERY, NOV. 2024
For the latest If There’s a Common Thread project, 13 international artists spent 10 days living and creating in an atomic bunker in Zlín, Czech Republic. Together, they worked both individually and as a collective organism, holding nightly forums and forming a parallel world with its own norms, rituals, and a distorted sense of time and space. The experience culminated in a four-day opening ceremony, merging this surreal microcosm with the outside world.

The second installment of If There’s a Common Thread took place in Budapest, in an old ivy-covered villa with an idyllic garden. Following its debut in Vienna as part of the dual show that launched the experiment, the event concluded with a campfire gathering. This became a space for open dialogue, where ideas, artistic endeavors, and personal experiences were shared, marking a defining moment in the exhibition series.
